Almost every component of the Supertech R boot, Alpinestars' definitive racing boots, as worn by a number of past and present champions, has undergone a rigorous program of upgrades to further enhance its performance. Key elements include a redesigned front flexure area, a redesigned rear bellows, a redesigned upper gaiter area, a new slide and a new tibial plate, a new tibial slide and a new inner boot, all bringing the comfort, protection and performance of this boot to a new, class-leading level.

• Newly designed rear bellows made of stretch microfiber for improved natural movement at the front and back.
• Redesigned upper gaiter in microfiber material with TPU via injection for improved ease of use.
• Velcro fastener ensures that the puller zipper remains in position.
• Micro-adjustable ratchet closure on the top of the boot for an optimized fit.
• Sole made of a light rubber mixture for excellent grip on the poles.
• Separate, internally updated bio-mechanical inner boat made of 3D mesh material for a larger structure, allowing the improvement of riders comfort.

PROTECTION

• Interchangeable, co-injected TPU/aluminum toe slide with a simple screw system that protects the toe area from abrasion.
• New interchangeable heel plate slider design provides increased sliding performance and protection in the event of a fall.
• The inner boot is equipped with a new outer toe area with a soft TPU reinforcement for better impact protection and an additional ankle padding for more protection, stability and cushioning during the natural movement of the foot.

• -New synthetic microfiber plate on the medial side for increased abrasion resistance and improved feel when contacting the bike.
• New TPU slider for increased protection on the lower media side.
• - New TPU tibial plate has been redesigned for greater impact absorption performance, improving abrasion resistance in a key area.
• New replaceable shin slide for additional abrasion resistance.
• New TPU stretch panel design with zipper for easier access and exit and a tighter, optimized fit.
• The main microfiber upper provides optimum abrasion resistance while providing high flexibility.
• New front flex range for improved abrasion resistance while ensuring the natural front and back.
• New front flex area increases ventilation and airflow for additional breathability.
