Almost every component of Alpinestars' Supertech R boot makes it the racing boot worn by a number of champions past and present. It has undergone a rigorous upgrade programme to further enhance its performance characteristics. Key elements include a redesigned front flex area, a redesigned rear gaiter, a redesigned upper gaiter, a new slider and shin plate, a new shin slider and a new inner bootie, all of which elevate the comfort, protection and performance of this boot to a new, class-leading level.

• New TPU slider for increased protection on the lower medial side.
• The new TPU shin plate has been redesigned for greater impact absorption performance, improving abrasion resistance in a key area.
• New replaceable shin slide for added abrasion resistance.
• New TPU stretch panel design with zip for easier entry and exit and a tighter, optimised fit.
• Velcro closure ensures puller zip stays in place.
• Micro-adjustable pawl closure at the top of the boot for an optimal fit.
• Replaceable, co-injected TPU/aluminium toe slider with a simple screw system that protects the toe area from abrasion.
• The new, replaceable heel plate slider design offers increased glide and protection in the event of a fall.
• The sole is made of a lightweight rubber compound that provides excellent grip on the lugs.
• Separate, internally updated, biomechanical inner shoe made of 3D mesh material for greater structure and the associated improved rider comfort.
• The inner bootie features a new outer toe area with soft TPU reinforcement for better impact protection and additional ankle padding for more protection, stability and cushioning during the natural movement of the foot.
