In this model of the PRO tank ring, a tank ring adapter replaces the factory-installed tank filler neck. The PRO tank ring is attached to the tank ring adapter. Two elevation elements ensure the optimal positioning of the tank backpack above the tank.

The innovative power of two German companies is perfectly combined in the PRO tank ring: The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, which has been tried and tested for years, can now be operated even more easily thanks to the magnetic guiding aid of the Fidlock technology. We have improved the positioning of the upper ring substantially: The displaceable upper ring is already pre-mounted with a guide rail on the tank backpack and the tank backpack does not have to be drilled.

Thus, the upper ring can be aligned quite individually on the guide rail on the underside of the tank backpack. Once the appropriate position has been found, the upper ring is screwed tightly. When changing to another motorcycle, the position of the upper ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guide aid, developed by Fidlock, complements the already mature mechanical QUICK-LOCK locking system from SW-MOTECH: The magnets guide the upper ring into the appropriate position on the tank ring and the closure snaps into place. Thus, the force of the magnets supports the placement of the tank backpack. Attach the tank backpack with a handle and start – The luggage is safe and fun.

The mechanical latching mechanism secures the tank backpack and the magnets bring the two parts of the ring together. The robust glass fiber reinforced plastic with its highly precise detent geometry is responsible for keeping the tank backpack firmly in place in all road conditions.

The patented PRO tank ring is matched to the tank filler neck of the motorcycle model. This ensures the best possible positioning on the tank.
