The Smart Jacket LS is a ventilated motorcycle jacket that combines the versatility of a light, ventilated garment with the intelligence and maximum protection of the Dainese D-air® airbag system. The Smart Jacket LS requires no connection to the motorcycle, can be used as a normal ventilated jacket without having to combine other garments, and requires no subscription. Made of certified, abrasion-resistant and ventilated fabric, it is also suitable for particularly hot days and ensures excellent breathability. The Dainese D-air® system, which is used in MotoGP and has been developed in over 25 years of research, monitors what happens around the motorcyclist 1,000 times per second thanks to its 7 sensors. Without needing cables or connections, it recognizes dangerous situations independently and immediately activates the shield, a high-tech air bag made of microfilaments, which offers a maximum of protection at the chest and back. The system is activated and protects in the event of a slide, high sider, impact on an obstacle or another vehicle as well as in the event of rear-end collisions, even in a stationary position. The Dainese D-air® system of the Smart Jacket LS offers a protection at the covered areas, which corresponds to the rigid back protectors of stage 1, without the need to use a rigid back protector. The Smart Jacket LS has removable Pro Armor protectors (Level 2, Type B) on elbows and shoulders. Pro-Armor technology offers the highest level of protection for the limbs, coupled with high freedom of movement and exceptional ventilation, thanks to the soft structure inspired by natural fractals and the ventilated surface covering 40% of the protector surface. Equipped with 2 side zip pockets, the most important personal items can be easily inserted to always have them at hand.
