Our new Tour-X4 has a completely new outer shell.

Redesigned, harder, stronger and stiffer than ever before.
Because the Tour-X4 is used by many users under the toughest conditions, the ventilation system has been specially revised for maximum efficiency.
The new cheek pads in FCS (Facial Contour System) design offer a tight fit and are optimally supported on the face along the line of the lower jaw.
For individual adaptation to the respective head, it is possible to padding the standard cheek and head cushions by 5mm each.
Of course, cushions in different thicknesses are also available as an option.
Wear the Tour-X4 with or without an umbrella, with or without a visor or a combination of both.
The large field of view opening also offers ample space for the use of cross-eyeglasses.

penetration tested*
All Arai helmets are always developed and tested for protection against penetration, even if this is not required in the current European standard ECE 22-05.
The Arai penetration test is carried out with a 3 kg pointed test body, which is dropped on the helmet from a height of 3 meters.

Smooth form, better accident protection*
The smooth outer shell of an Arai helmet has been developed in this form so that the helmet can slide over obstacles in the event of an accident as far as possible without resistance. The aim is to generate as few rotational forces as possible by turning. This is also why all Arai ventilation elements are always designed and mounted in such a way that they are released from the helmet in the event of an accident.

Organic shape*
In the form of its outer shells, Arai always orients himself to the natural, organic form of the human head. This minimizes air turbulence, improves wearing comfort and is visually more attractive.

Washable interior fittings*
The premium quality of the materials used in the interior design basically allows an Arai helmet to be cleaned easily with lukewarm water and mild soap.

Hard outer shell, soft inner shell*
Arai uses a hard outer shell to distribute striking energy in the event of an accident and a softer inner shell to absorb the remaining residual energy afterwards. The unique, one-piece EPS inner shell used in this case combines up to 5 different densities of the material in only one shell.

Dual-D lock*
The flat double-D lock adapts gently to the user's head without disturbing. No moving parts, no susceptibility to rust, a chin belt that is always tightened with precision and the impossibility of independent opening are convincing arguments for this type of closure.

External shells of different sizes*
For safety reasons, unlike other helmet manufacturers, Arai uses its own outer shell for two helmet sizes for most models. Because of this, and because of the different Arai models, each user finds exactly the helmet that suits him best and pleases him personally.

Comfort for every day*
Comfort for every day is achieved by the combination of organic shapes of the shell and individually adaptable fits of padding. High-quality textile materials and effective ventilation round off the picture. Thanks to a perfect balance and a deep center of gravity of the construction, Arai helmets are designed to be worn for a long time without tiring or affecting the user.

Limited 5-year warranty*
All Arai helmets are equipped with a limited 5-year warranty for production and processing defects. We carry out service work on the helmet up to the age of 7 years after the date of production.

Handmade*
It takes up to 5 years before an Arai employee acquires the right to manufacture an outer shell. 27 steps and about 18 hours of work are required to create a perfect Arai helmet.

Five quality checks*
Each individual Arai helmet undergoes five separate quality checks in the different production phases. After the outer shell has been manufactured,
after painting or applying the decoration, after assembly and in two further intermediate steps in production.
