Alpinestars has redefined the protection for motorcyclists since it was founded in 1963 and is now launching the brand-new autonomous Tech-Air® 5 motorcycle airbag system. Tech-Air® 5 is the latest addition to the Alpinestars Tech-Air® family, which includes the Tech-Air® Race and Tech-Air® Street systems. Alpinestars continues to lead the active airbag technology for drivers and their passengers.

UPDATE:
A new software update for the Tech-Air 5 is available in the Alpinestars Tech-Air App! With this software update, the RACE RIDING MODE has been introduced.
The Tech-Air 5 is delivered as standard in STREET RIDING MODE.
First, the Tech-Air app must be upgraded to the latest version (this is usually done automatically, unless the automatic app updates are disabled).
Then open the app and select the settings and the item Software. Once the Tech-Air 5 vest is switched on and the system is coupled to the app, the system software in the app can be updated via this point.

After the update you see the new option „Riding Modes“ in the app settings and can switch between STREET and RACE mode.
Please note that the „RACE RIDING Mode“ ONLY can be used for driving on closed circuits and cannot be used for other types of driving!!!
