Nearly every component of the Supertech R Boot, Alpinestar's definitive racing boot as worn by a number of champions past and present, has undergone a rigorous programme of upgrades to further enhance its performance characteristics. Key elements include a redesigned front flex area, redesigned rear gaiter, redesigned upper gaiter, new slider and shin plate, new shin slider and new inner bootie, all of which elevate the comfort, protection and performance of this boot to new, class-leading levels.

• Newly designed rear gaiter in stretch microfiber for improved natural movement front and rear.
• Newly designed upper gaiter in microfiber material with TPU over injection for improved prehensility.
• Hook and loop closure secures puller zip stays in place.
• Micro-adjustable ratchet closure at the top of the boot for an optimal fit.
• Sole made of a lightweight rubber compound for excellent grip on the poles.
• Separate, internally updated bio-mechanical inner bootie made of 3D mesh material for greater structure, thus improving rider comfort.
  
  
• New synthetic microfibre panel on the medial side for improved abrasion resistance and enhanced feel when in contact with the bike.
• New TPU shifter for increased protection on the lower medial side.
• New TPU shin plate redesigned for greater impact absorption performance, improving abrasion resistance in a key area.
• New replaceable shin slide for added abrasion resistance.
• New TPU stretch panel design with zip for easier entry and exit and a tighter, optimised fit.
• Microfiber main upper for optimal abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility.
• New front flex area for improved abrasion resistance while ensuring natural front and back.

• Replaceable co-injected TPU / aluminium toe slider with a simple screw system that protects the toe area against abrasion resistance.
• New replaceable heel plate slider design provides increased glide performance and protection in the event of a fall.
• The inner shoe is equipped with a new outer toe area with a soft TPU reinforcement for better impact protection and additional ankle padding for more protection, stability and cushioning during the natural movement of the foot.
